All About Hello Eco

Hello Eco is a Canadian Family Business.

Hello Eco was created after the birth of the founder’s son. They wanted to show their kids they can reduce their environmental impact and have a positive effect on the environment, as well as help families around the world do the same.

We want to make this world a better place, and our goal is to inspire people to live healthier lives while raising awareness about sustainable options that are easier for our planet.

Small changes make a big difference and our biodegradable solutions replace thousands of single-use or plastic products. We constantly evolve and innovate to meet demand and help ease the burden of our environment.

First Impressions

Like usual, I was looking on Amazon for my next purchase of bamboo toothbrushes. I had previously ordered bamboo toothbrushes (full review here), but I wanted to try a different brand just to see the difference. 

I chose Hello Boo because I liked the style of toothbrush bristles, they are contoured and colored. I also liked that there were 8 toothbrushes in a box (as a family of 5, it’s nice to have some extras). 

They arrived in a recyclable cardboard box which I liked. I really dislike plastic packaging in case you didn’t know. 

I chose the light blue toothbrush because blue is my favorite color and I left the dark blue one for my son because I am nice that way! 

I like the way the toothbrush feels in my hand when I brush my teeth. It’s really comfortable. I also really like the contoured head, I feel like it gets my teeth clean pretty well. 

I mistakenly ordered medium firmness instead of soft, but luckily it is not too hard. I can still brush my teeth comfortably, I just prefer softer bristles. But that was my mistake, not the toothbrushes.

The toothbrushes arrived in a recyclable cardboard box. No plastic. Gotta love it.

Likes

• Colored bristles make it easy to know who’s is who’s
• Feels good in the hand

• Came with enough for the whole family, with some extras
• Bristles are not too hard, despite me ordering medium instead of soft
• Bristles are still in good shape after a couple of months use

 Dislikes

• Brush head is too big for kids (in all fairness it is marketed to teens and adults) so need to order kids brushes as well

 My Opinion

I am very satisfied with these bamboo toothbrushes. They are really comfortable to brush with and I love the colored bristles. My teeth feel smoothe and clean after I brush. 

These are my favorite bamboo toothbrushes I have tried so far. After using them for a couple of months, the bristles are still in good shape, so I don’t think I will have to replace it before the recommended 3 months is up.

Hello Boo toothbrushes are good for the environment and your mouth! I like the overall feel of them, the color, the minimal packaging, and they clean my mouth well.

A common complaint I have come across with most bamboo toothbrushes is that they can be a bit rough on the inside of your mouth. When I first started using bamboo toothbrushes, I found the corners of my mouth were sore, but that went away within a couple of weeks of using them. I think bamboo is just a little rougher than plastic, so our mouths rebel a little bit at first. Just give it some time and you won’t even notice, using bamboo will just be the norm.

I would highly recommend Hello Eco toothbrushes to anyone who wants to try bamboo toothbrushes for the first time or checking out different brands like I am.
